Czech woodcutter and painter Jaroslav Rotbauer, born 1929 in Prague, artistically belonging to the 1950's generation of the East-European Avant-Garde, Post-WWII Moderne and Post-Moderne, early Industrialist Abstraction and Existentialist Expression, friend of the writer Bohumil Hrabal and school- mate of Vladimír Boudník, Hanes Reegen, Zdeněk Bouše and Jaroslav Dočekal.
